AveriStar Multimedia Training Videos are truly one of the most in-depth training tools you will ever use for the BroadSoft Platform. We like to consider ourselves the “video professors” for the feature server; we have given this training so many times we are able to anticipate questions before they are asked. AveriStar uses the carrier’s platform to make each video and sends out a list of requirements once the contract is signed. Each video is made using a script, which is given to the customer prior to production to make any changes to product names and features. The videos are all created with a “dynamic table of contents” which makes it easy to jump to a particular portion of the video if needed. All aspects of the BroadSoft Platform are covered from group services provisioning, toolbar, receptionist, call center, soft client, web portal, IP phones and edge devices.

If you use it in the network we can create a training video on it. Our videos are used in many different ways by each of our customers. First, they are used to train internally such as new employees as well as the sales team and sales engineers so that all fully understand each feature. Secondly, they are given to end users customers. This cuts down on the return training classes for people who were not able to attend the first time around, or for people who were preoccupied during the initial class. Yes, we hate to admit it but with all the technology available at our fingertips today sometimes people are checking email, texting and even talking on the phone while training is taking place. Trainers use our videos as a “train the trainer” type class, they have the customers follow along with the video and pause for questions or comments. A majority of platform owners will put the videos on their web site for customers to stream or customers put them on their internal web-site for easy access.
