Mark P. Averi

Principal Consultant

Mark is a veteran of the United States Navy where he served as a Gunners Mate Missile Technician Second Class Petty Officer aboard the USS Yarnell CG-17.  He also served 2years in the reserves with the Sea Bees Construction Battalion. Mark is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Bio Medical Engineering Technology.  Mark has worked in both Fortune 500 and start-up company environments, and brings a wealth of sales, marketing, and business development experience to AveriStar.  During his employment with Wandel and Goltermann he took an assignment in Yokohama, Japan where he received a customer service award.  Mark has always prided himself as a person of integrity and loyalty to his customers both internal and external.  Working for several early adopters of VoIP, including DailOut, Lucent, and Broadsoft, Mark obtained the knowledge and experience of selling and marketing to the carrier, wholesale, and partner environments. Mark's dynamic and personal approach to sales is unparalleled, and has earned him the trust and respect of both colleagues and customers alike. Mark is one of the founders of AveriStar as well as the head of the sales department.
